PaintColorKE’s own colour library: 5,344 colours sampled evenly across everything a screen can show, from soft whites to deep accents. Any of the 16,777,216 HEX values also has its own page, schemes and similar colours. The library works on its own; manufacturer colours are an optional reference beside it.

Design uses are PaintColorKE guidance from screen lightness and colourfulness, not paint suitability. Check a physical sample before choosing paint.
How the library is made
The library samples OKLCH evenly (rule pck-anchors/1): a neutral axis, warm and cool tinted neutrals, a finer region of whites and soft neutrals, and rings of increasing colourfulness at every lightness step, keeping only colours a standard sRGB screen can show exactly, with no two closer than 0.012 deltaEOK. It is generated without any manufacturer or third-party colour data; the generator, its settings and the output checksum (19d179f17adff7ea…) are kept with the release. Library codes (PCK-A-…) describe where a colour was sampled and never change; names are added only after review.
Every HEX value has a stable reference such as PCK-D-4C8A72. Values typed in another notation keep their original; anything rounded, brought into the sRGB range or composited over a background is said so on the colour’s page.
