About these values
Formats
HEX, RGB and HSL describe sRGB, the colour space of most screens. OKLCH is perceptual: equal steps in lightness look about equal. Lab here is CIE Lab with the D50 white point, as CSS uses it.
Outside sRGB
Some OKLCH and Lab values cannot be shown on an sRGB screen. They are mapped into sRGB with the CSS Color 4 method, and the tool tells you when that happened.
Not paint data
There is no CMYK print proof here, and a screen colour’s luminance is not a paint’s light-reflectance value (LRV). Use the manufacturer’s data for paint.
