Screen colours are not paint
Every colour on the website is a screen colour. Screens, lighting, cameras, surfaces, sheen and the number of coats all change how paint really looks. A HEX or RGB value is not a paint formula. Always check a physical sample or test patch, in your own light, before buying paint.
Matches and similar colours
“Similar paint colours” and colour matches compare digital values. They are suggestions, not equivalents, and they do not identify the paint in a photo.
Manufacturer information
Colours, product details, drying times, coverage and pack sizes come from the manufacturers’ own published information on the date we read it. Ranges, formulas, availability and prices change and differ by market. Check the manufacturer’s current data sheet and a stockist before you buy. Listing a brand is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a partnership, and we do not sell paint.
Calculators and estimates
Paint quantities, costs and other calculations are estimates based on the figures you enter and typical values. Surfaces, preparation, application and wastage vary. Buy a little extra and follow the product instructions.
Previews and illustrations
Rooms, scenes, patterns, textures and effects are illustrations of an idea. They do not show how a real product will look, perform or last.
Colour vision and accessibility tools
Colour-blindness simulations are approximate models, and individual colour vision varies. Contrast checks follow published guidelines but do not replace testing with real users. Nothing on the website is medical advice.
Science, space and flags
Colours of light, space objects, elements and flags are display approximations for learning and design. Space colours come from particular images and models, not from looking at the object. Flag colours on screen can differ from official specifications. Holiday and occasion palettes are creative suggestions, not official or traditional colours.
