How the studio works
The controls
Glass style sets how the glass handles light: clear, frosted, milky, liquid or iridescent. Transparency sets how much of the background shows through, and Frost how softly it is diffused. Shape changes each glass object, and Background the colours and detail behind it. Advanced holds refraction, thickness, reflections, depth colour and light.
Your colours stay true
Glass changes how colours look, not what they are. The studio keeps the colours under the glass as you chose them, and exports, links and palettes always carry those values. A colour seen through glass is an appearance, never a new HEX.
Real refraction
Clear glass bends what is behind it, most strongly at its curved edges. Frosted glass diffuses only the scene behind it, so the edges and text on top stay sharp. Compare shows the same design with the glass off and on.
Readable text, private photos
The studio checks text on the glass against the pixels behind it; Make text readable adds frost and a light tint without touching your colours. Photos you place under the glass stay on your device. For walls, use the colours under the glass with similar paint colours.
